CORT’EMILIA BONAMINI
After the Second World War, grandma Emilia found herself having to face a really tough challenge: she was left alone, widow, with her daughter Lina to raise and the farm to be replanted and modernize. With strong tenacity and determination she maintained the ownership and the management of the company and in the meanwhile little Lina became a teen and then a grown up woman. It was after the meeting and the wedding of Lina with Stefano Bonamini, a miller and an agricultural contractor, which allowed the two women to look to the future with confidence and optimism. The new vineyards grew at the same time of the activity of the mill and the grapes produced were given to the local wine cellar. Today part of those grapes are vinified and the final product is a tribute to grandmother Emilia, whose wines still retain her personality.
